SEAT: REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY (W/ Automatic Folding-up Function): MANUAL OPEN OPERATION

MANUAL OPEN OPERATION
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
- W/ Navigation System:
After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION HINGE COVER LH
(a) Remove the rear seat cushion hinge cover LH Removal.
3. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT HINGE COVER LH
(a) Remove the rear No. 2 seat hinge cover LH Removal.
4. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER COVER RH
(a) Remove the reclining adjuster cover RH Disassembly.





5. OPEN BOTTOM OF SEATBACK COVER
(a) Detach the hook.





6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Detach the clamp.
(b) Remove the nut, bolt and remove the striker.

7. REMOVE POWER SEAT MOTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the power seat motor sub-assembly Disassembly.
8. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the rear No. 2 seat Removal.
9. REMOVE REAR STEP COVER
10. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
11. REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT REAR SUPPORT PLATE
12. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK
13. REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH
14. REMOVE REAR ROOF NO. 1 AIR DUCT
15. REMOVE NO. 1 WOOFER BOX SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for RH Side, W/ Woofer)





16. UNLOCK FOLD SEAT LEG LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY BY HAND
(a) Pull the release lever in the direction shown in the illustration to release the lock.
