REMOVAL
1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal
2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Removal
3. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL Removal
4. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
5. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
- W/ Navigation System:
After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
6. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal
7. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH Removal
8. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
9. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT Removal
10. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL FRONT RH Removal
11. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY Removal
12. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY Removal
13. DISCONNECT VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY [1][2]Removal
14. DISCONNECT OIL COOLER PIPE ASSEMBLY Removal
15. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the generator connector.
(b) Remove the terminal cap and nut, and disconnect the generator wire.
(c) Remove the bolt and wire harness bracket from the generator.
(d) Remove the 3 bolts, nut and generator.
