AIR CONDITIONING: CONDENSER: INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the cooler condenser assembly with the 2 screws.
Torque: 3.9 Nm (40 kgf-cm, 35in-lbf)
HINT: If the condenser is replaced with a new one, add compressor oil to the new condenser.
Capacity:
40 cc (1.4 fl. oz.)
Compressor oil:
ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
(b) Install the 2 radiator support brackets.

3. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT CUSHION Installation
4. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER Installation
5. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY Installation
6. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER Installation
7. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation
8. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
9. INSTALL NO. 2 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation
10. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation
11. INSTALL COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE PIPE
(a) Remove the attached vinyl tape from the pipe and connecting part of the cooler condenser assembly.
(b) Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the pipe joint.
Compressor oil:
ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
(c) Install the O-ring to the cooler refrigerant discharge pipe.
(d) Connect the cooler refrigerant discharge pipe to the cooler condenser assembly with the bolt.
Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 47in-lbf)
12. INSTALL LIQUID TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the attached vinyl tape from the tube and connecting part of the cooler condenser assembly.
(b) Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the tube joint.
Compressor oil:
ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
(c) Install the O-ring on the liquid tube sub-assembly.
(d) Connect the liquid tube sub-assembly to the cooler condenser assembly with the bolt.
Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 47in-lbf)
13. CHARGE WITH REFRIGERANT
Specified amount:
550 to 650 g (19.4 to 22.9 oz.)
14. WARM UP ENGINE
15. CHECK FOR REFRIGERANT LEAK
