Accelerator Pedal: Testing and Inspection

ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. CHECK ACCELERATOR PEDAL ROD
(a) Check the voltage.
(1) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(2) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(3) Turn the Techstream on.
(4) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / Accelerator Position No. 1, Accelerator Position No. 2.
(5) Read the value displayed on the Techstream.

Standard voltage (Accelerator Position No. 2):






If the result is not as specified, check the accelerator pedal rod, wire harness or ECM.
