SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM: FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY CENTER Reassembly
3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY
HINT: Refer to the procedures from "INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY" Installation.

4. CONNECT FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY CONNECTOR





(a) Connect the 2 connectors to the front passenger airbag assembly.
NOTICE:
When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

5. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY Installation
6. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL NO.2 UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
7. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
HINT: Use the same procedures for the cowl side trim sub-assembly RH and the cowl side trim sub-assembly LH Installation.

8. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM RH WEATHERSTRIP
9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF RH PLATE
HINT: Use the same procedures for the front door scuff RH plate and the front door scuff LH plate Installation.

10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

11. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Inspect the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.
