SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM: FRONT AIRBAG SENSOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. PRECAUTION
CAUTION:
Be sure to read the "PRECAUTION" thoroughly before servicing Service Precautions.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag working.
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY Removal
4. REMOVE FRONT AIRBAG SENSOR LH





(a) Remove the 2 bolts and the front airbag sensor LH.
(b) Disconnect the connector from the front airbag sensor LH.
