Installation





AA80E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION: TCM: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL TCM

(a) Install the TCM to the ECM box.





NOTICE:
* Install the TCM in the ECM box with the name plate facing the inside of the vehicle.
(b) Install the 2 nuts.





Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

NOTICE:
* Make sure that the stud bolts are securely installed into the front and rear bolt holes.
* Insert the stud bolt on the vehicle rear side to the TCM first.
(c) Connect the 2 connectors.

2. CONNECT WIRE HARNESS Installation

3. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM ECU COVER Installation

4. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation

5. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation

6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

7. CHECK AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SYSTEM PRECAUTION

(a) After replacing the TCM, certain procedures are necessary Initialization.
