BRAKE CONTROL: ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM: C1442/44,C1443/34: Invalid Data Received from Acceleration Sensor


DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU receives signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor via the CAN communication system.

The yaw rate sensor has a built-in acceleration sensor and detects the vehicle condition.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
When replacing the yaw rate and acceleration sensor, perform zero point calibration Calibration.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC

(a) Clear the DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(b) Turn the power switch ON (READY).

(c) Engine running for 60 seconds, and then power switch off.

(d) Check if the same DTC is recorded Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
