C1774
SUSPENSION CONTROL: ADAPTIVE VARIABLE SUSPENSION SYSTEM: C1774: Low Battery Positive Voltage
C1774 - Low Battery Positive Voltage
DESCRIPTION
- This circuit provides power to operate the absorber control ECU.
- This DTC is stored when the B terminal voltage is as described in the DTC detection condition due to a malfunction in the power supply or a charging circuit such as the battery, alternator circuit, etc.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
When replacing the absorber control ECU, check the acceleration sensor signal after replacement Adaptive Variable Suspension System.
HINT
Check the condition of each related circuit connector before troubleshooting Electronic Circuit Inspection Procedure.
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE
(a) Check the battery voltage.
Standard voltage:
10 to 14 V
NG -- CHECK CHARGING SYSTEM
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT FUSE (AIR SUS)
(a) Remove the AIR SUS fuse from the main body ECU RH.
(b) Measure the resistance of the AIR SUS fuse.
Standard resistance:
Below 1 Ohms
NG -- REPLACE FUSE
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (B CIRCUIT)
(a) Disconnect the K72 absorber control ECU connector.
(b) Turn the power switch ON (IG).
(c) Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.
Standard voltage:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (B CIRCUIT)
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (GND CIRCUIT)
(a) Disconnect the K72 absorber control ECU connector.
(b) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (GND CIRCUIT)
OK -- Continue to next step.
5. RECONFIRM DTC
(a) Clear the DTC Adaptive Variable Suspension System.
(b) Turn the power switch ON (READY).
(c) Check if the same DTC is recorded Adaptive Variable Suspension System.
HINT
Reinstall the sensor, connectors, etc. and restore the vehicle to its prior condition before rechecking for DTCs.
