SUSPENSION CONTROL: ACTIVE STABILIZER SUSPENSION SYSTEM: C1926,C1927: Sub Battery Temperature Sensor

DESCRIPTION

The rear active stabilizer control ECU uses the battery current sensor installed on the battery (for active stabilizer) to monitor the temperature and current of the battery (for active stabilizer). If a problem occurs in the active stabilizer battery current sensor, DTCs C1926 and C1927 are stored.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT ACTIVE STABILIZER BATTERY CURRENT SENSOR

(a) Turn the power switch off.

(b) Disconnect the E active stabilizer battery current sensor connector.





(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:





NG -- REPLACE ACTIVE STABILIZER BATTERY CURRENT SENSOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU - ACTIVE STABILIZER BATTERY CURRENT SENSOR)

(a) Disconnect the z20 rear active stabilizer control ECU connector.

(b) Disconnect the E active stabilizer battery current sensor connector.





(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE REAR ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU Removal
