SUSPENSION CONTROL: ACTIVE STABILIZER SUSPENSION SYSTEM: C1934,C1935: Front Metal Board Overheat
DESCRIPTION
The front active stabilizer control ECU consists of a metal board, control board, power source IC, step-up circuit, EEPROM, and other parts. If a problem occurs in the front active stabilizer control ECU, DTCs C1934 and C1935 are stored.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT MULTI INFORMATION DISPLAY
(a) Turn the power switch ON (IG).
(b) Check if the multi-information display can display continuously for 30 minutes or more.
Result
B -- CHECK OPERATION OF FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU
A -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK SURROUNDING CONDITIONS (AMBIENT TEMPERATURE)
(a) Confirm the temperature around the front active stabilizer control ECU.
HINT
If there are factors causing a high temperature in the front active stabilizer control ECU, eliminate those factors, wait for the ECU to cool down, and recheck for the DTC.

A -- ELIMINATE FACTORS CAUSING HIGH TEMPERATURES
B -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK OPERATION OF FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU
(a) Turn the power switch OFF.
(b) Exchange the rear active stabilizer control ECU with the front active stabilizer ECU.
(c) Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
(d) Turn the power switch ON (IG) and press the Techstream main switch ON.
(e) Clear the DTC Active Stabilizer Suspension System.
(f) Check for DTC.

B -- REPLACE FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU
