NOTICE:
When replacing the skid control ECU, perform initialization of linear solenoid valve and calibration Initialization.

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

(a) Check if the CAN communication system DTC is output Problem Symptoms Table.

2. INSPECT MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

(a) Check if the multiplex communication system DTC is output Diagnosis System.

3. INSPECT ABS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Disconnect the skid control ECU connector.

(b) Turn the power switch ON (IG).

(c) Check that the ABS warning light comes on.

OK:

ABS warning light comes on.

If troubleshooting has been carried out according to the "PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE", refer back to the table and proceed to the next step before replacing the part Problem Symptoms Table.

NG -- INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

OK -- REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU Removal

4. INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

(a) Check the combination meter Problem Symptoms Table.
