C1762/62 - Continuous Current to Exhaust Solenoid
DESCRIPTION
The exhaust valve built into the height control compressor assembly opens to discharge compressed air from the pneumatic cylinders into the atmosphere according to the signal from the suspension control ECU.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
When replacing the suspension control ECU, perform registration Testing and Inspection.
HINT
If DTC C1782/82 is output at the same time, perform troubleshooting for C1782/82 first C1782.
PROCEDURE
1. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS
(a) Ask the customer about the vehicle and usage conditions when the DTC was stored.
HINT
DTC C1762/62 can be stored under unusual vehicle or usage conditions.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK DTC
(a) Clear the DTC Air Suspension System.
(b) Start the engine and wait for 100 seconds or more.
(c) Set the vehicle height to HI, wait until the vehicle height change is complete, and then return the vehicle height to normal.
(d) Check for DTC Air Suspension System.

B -- END (C1762/62 WAS OUTPUT DUE TO UNUSUAL VEHICLE OR USAGE CONDITION)
A -- Continue to next step.
3. INSPECT AIR TUBE (AIR TUBE FOR CLOG)
(a) Inspect the air tubes for clogs Suspension Control System (W/ Air Suspension).
OK:
No clogs are found in the air tubes.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE AIR TUBE
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. INSPECT NO. 2 HEIGHT CONTROL VALVE C1761
NG -- REPLACE NO. 2 HEIGHT CONTROL VALVE Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
5. INSPECT HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR (EXHAUST SOLENOID VALVE) C1745
NG -- REPLACE HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- REPLACE SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU Removal
