C1792/92 - Height Control Switch Circuit (Test Mode DTC)
DESCRIPTION
The vehicle height can be adjusted by pressing the height control switch.
By pressing the "up" side, vehicle height is raised.
By pressing the "down" side, vehicle height is lowered.
HINT
This DTC is stored only during test mode.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
When replacing the suspension control ECU, perform registration Testing and Inspection.
PROCEDURE
1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (HEIGHT CONTROL SWITCH)
(a) Turn the engine switch off.
(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(c) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(d) Turn the Techstream on.
(e) Enter the following menus: Chassis / Air suspension / Data List.
Air Suspension
(f) Check that the value displayed on the Techstream changes by pressing the height control switch "up" side or "down" side.
OK:
Height control switch value changes.
NG -- INSPECT HEIGHT CONTROL SWITCH (COMBINATION SWITCH)

2. INSPECT HEIGHT CONTROL SWITCH (COMBINATION SWITCH)
(a) Turn the engine switch off.
(b) Remove the combination switch Removal.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPLACE COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEIGHT CONTROL SWITCH - SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU)
(a) Disconnect the i5 combination switch connector.
(b) Disconnect the A40 suspension control ECU connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU Removal
