- Cruise SET Indicator Light Circuit
DESCRIPTION
* When the ECM detects a cruise control switch on signal from the cruise control switch, the ECM sends the signal to the combination meter assembly through CAN communication. Then the cruise control SET indicator light turns on.
* The cruise control SET indicator light circuit uses CAN communication. If there is a malfunction in this circuit, check for DTCs in the CAN communication system before troubleshooting this circuit.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (CRUISE CONTROL SET INDICATOR LIGHT)
(a) Select the item below in the Active Test, and then check that the cruise control SET indicator light illuminates Cruise Control System.
Combination Meter
OK:
Cruise control SET indicator light turns on/off.
NG -- GO TO METER / GAUGE SYSTEM Problem Symptoms Table
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH)
(a) Use the Data List to check if the cruise control switch is functioning properly Cruise Control System.

On screen, item changes between ON and OFF according to above chart.
NG -- REPLACE ECM Removal
