Applicability
Introduction
Some 2010 - 2011 model year GX 460 vehicles may exhibit an intermittent MIL "ON" condition with Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) P2111 and/or P2112 (Throttle Actuator Control System) stored in the Engine Control Module or ECM (SAE Term: Powertrain Control Module/PCM). Use the following repair procedure to address this condition.

Repair Procedure
1. Using TIS Techstream retrieve any stored DTCs.
2. If DTC P2111 or P2112 are present replace the throttle body assembly.
Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS) applicable model and model year Repair Manual:

3. After the repair is complete clear any DTCs and confirm normal system operation and that there are NO pending DTCs.
