Transmission Position Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection
A760H AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION: SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH: INSPECTION 1.
INSPECT SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH
(a)
Disconnect the switch wire connector from the transmission shift switch.
(b)
Measure the resistance between each terminal when the paddle shift is moved to each position.
Standard resistance:
(c)
If the resistance value is not as specified, replace the shift paddle switch.
