Applicability

Introduction

Some 2006 - 2010 model year IS 250/350 vehicles may exhibit deterioration of the roof side drip finish moldings causing a cracked/discolored appearance. Revised roof drip side finish moldings have been developed to address this condition.

Repair Procedure





1. Confirm the roof drip side finish molding rubber is cracked or discolored (See Figure 1).


A. If the moldings have a poor appearance continue to step 2.

B. If not this bulletin does NOT apply.





2. Remove the Roof Drip Side Finish Moldings.

A. Put protective tape around the roof drip side finish molding.

B. Using a plastic pry tool disengage the 6 clips and remove the roof drip side finish molding.

C. Repeat process for the other side

3. Install NEW Roof Drip Side Finish Moldings in reverse order of removal and confirm repair.
