SLIDING ROOF / CONVERTIBLE: BACK WINDOW DRIVE MOTOR: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply battery voltage to the motor connector according to the table below.





OK:





(b) Connect an electrical tester DC 400 A probe to the wire harness of the motor.

NOTICE:
Match the arrow mark of the probe with the direction of the current flow.

(c) Measure the current according to the value(s) in the table below.

NOTICE:
Make sure to perform the inspection after the motor cools down sufficiently. Otherwise the result may not meet the specified condition due to protection circuit operation in the motor.

2. INSPECT SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply battery voltage to the motor connector according to the table below.





OK:
