WINDOW / GLASS: POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR (for Front Door): INSPECTION

1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Check power window regulator motor operation:





(1) Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.

NOTICE:
Do not apply battery voltage to any terminals except terminals 1 and 2.

(2) Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows.

OK:





(2) If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator motor assembly LH.

2. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Check power window regulator motor operation:





(1) Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.

NOTICE:
Do not apply battery voltage to any terminals except terminals 1 and 2.

(2) Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows.

OK:





(2) If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator motor assembly RH.
