Installation

1UR-FSE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: MASS AIR FLOW METER: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL MASS AIR FLOW METER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Bank 1)

(a) Install the MAF meter with the 2 screws.

Torque : 1.0 Nm (10 kgf-cm, 9 in-lbf)





NOTICE:
* If the screw is tightened excessively, the screw hole may be damaged.
* Make sure the O-ring is not pinched.
2. INSTALL MASS AIR FLOW METER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Bank 2)

(a) Install the MAF meter with the 2 screws.

Torque : 1.0 Nm (10 kgf-cm, 9 in-lbf)





NOTICE:
* If the screw is tightened excessively, the screw hole may be damaged.
* Make sure the O-ring is not pinched.
3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the air cleaner cap to the air cleaner case with the 2 clips.

for hose clamp - Torque : 3.8 Nm (39 kgf-cm, 34 in-lbf)





HINT
Insert the protrusion of the air cleaner hose into the hole of the hose clamp.

4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Install the air cleaner cap to the air cleaner case with the 2 clips.

for hose clamp - Torque : 3.8 Nm (39 kgf-cm, 34 in-lbf)





HINT
Insert the protrusion of the air cleaner hose into the hole of the hose clamp.

5. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

7. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Installation

8. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization Testing and Inspection.

NOTICE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
