Removal

INTERIOR: FRONT CONSOLE BOX (w/o Rear Seat Entertainment System): REMOVAL

1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH





(a) Using a moulding remover, detach the 8 clips and claw, and remove the instrument panel finish panel end.

2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH

HINT
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

3. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Twist the shift lever knob in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove it.

4. REMOVE NO. 3 BOX PANEL





(a) Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and remove the No. 3 box panel.

HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

5. REMOVE UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Put protective tape around the upper rear console panel.

(b) Move the shift lever to N.

(c) Remove the 2 screws.

(d) Using a screwdriver, detach the 6 clips.

HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(e) Disconnect each connector and remove the upper rear console panel.

6. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Put protective tape around the upper console panel.

(b) Detach the 2 clips.

(c) Disconnect each connector and remove the upper console panel.

7. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Using a moulding remover, detach the 5 clips and 2 claws.

(b) Disconnect each connector and remove the rear console end panel.

8. REMOVE LOWER CONSOLE COVER

(a) Remove the lower console cover.

9. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 4 bolts and 2 screws.

(b) Detach the 2 claws.

(c) Disconnect each connector and remove the console box.
