Climate Control Seat System





SEAT: CLIMATE CONTROL SEAT SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK FRONT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU LH





(a) Disconnect the e34 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.





(c) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(d) Reconnect the e34 ECU connector.

(e) Measure the voltage and resistance of the connectors.









* If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

(f) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 1.









(g) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 2.









2. CHECK FRONT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU RH





(a) Disconnect the e4 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.





(c) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(d) Reconnect the e4 ECU connector.

(e) Measure the voltage and resistance of the connectors.









* If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

(f) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 1.









(g) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 2.









3. CHECK REAR SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU RH





(a) Disconnect the f8 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.





(c) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(d) Reconnect the f8 ECU connector.

(e) Measure the voltage and resistance of the connectors.









* If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

(f) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 1.









(g) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 2.









4. CHECK REAR SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU LH





(a) Disconnect the f28 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.





(c) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(d) Reconnect the f28 ECU connector.

(e) Measure the voltage and resistance of the connectors.









* If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

(f) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 1.









(g) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 2.
