DESCRIPTION

With the engine switch on (IG) and the seat memory switch cancel indicator off, when the position control ECU receives a rear door courtesy light switch signal, the following occurs: 1) the slide motor and upper lumbar motor are moved to the rearmost position; 2) the reclining motor* is moved to the foremost position; and 3) the ottoman motor* is moved to the lowermost position.

1. CHECK REAR POWER SEAT CONTROL FUNCTION

(a) Operate the rear power seat switch and check that each power seat function operates normally.

OK:

Each function operates normally.

2. CHECK REAR SEAT MEMORY FUNCTION

(a) Check if the rear seat memory function operates normally.

OK:

Memory function operates normally.

3. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (SEAT ECU)

(a) Check the Data List for proper functioning of the seat ECU.
