INSTRUMENT PANEL: INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD: INSTALLATION
HINT
A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.
1. INSTALL NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL STAY
(a) Attach the 5 claws to install the 5 No. 3 instrument panel stays.
2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Attach the 5 claws to install the instrument panel safety pad.
(b) Install the 5 bolts and nut.
(c) Install the 2 passenger airbag bolts.
Torque : 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
(d) Connect each connector and each clamp.

11. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
(a) Connect each connector.
(b) Attach the 4 claws to install the No. 2 instrument panel register.
12. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
(a) Connect each connector.
(b) Attach the 4 claws to install the No. 1 instrument panel register.
13. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH Installation
14. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH Installation
15. INSTALL INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/o Navigation System) Installation
16. INSTALL DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY (w/ Navigation System) Installation
17. INSTALL RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET Installation
18. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Connect each connector and clamp.
(b) Install the glove compartment door with the 5 screws.
19. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER MOULDING
(a) Attach the 5 clips to install the No. 2 instrument cluster moulding.
20. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Installation
21. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER Installation
22. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Connect each connector.
(b) Attach the 4 claws to install the No. 2 instrument panel under cover.
23. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH
(a) Attach the 6 clips to install the instrument side panel.
24. INSTALL DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Installation
25. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Connect each connector.
(b) Attach the 5 clips and claw to install the No. 1 instrument panel safety pad.
(c) Install the 2 screws.
(d) Attach the claw to install the hole cover.
26. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Connect each connector and clamp.
(b) Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 1 instrument panel under cover.
(c) Install the 2 screws.
27. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER MOULDING
(a) Attach the 2 clips to install the No. 1 instrument cluster moulding.
28. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH
(a) Attach the 6 clips to install the instrument side panel.
29. INSTALL COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
(a) Connect each connector.
(b) Install the combination meter with the 4 screws.
30. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Connect each connector.
(b) Attach the 2 clips to install the finish panel.
(c) Install the 2 clips.
31. INSTALL HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the headlight dimmer switch assembly Installation.
32. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY
(a) w/o Rear Seat Entertainment System:
Install the console box assembly Installation.
(b) w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System:
Install the console box assembly Installation.
33. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
* Reset the AUTO TILT AWAY function setting to the previous condition by changing the customize parameter Programming and Relearning.
* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Testing and Inspection.
34. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Installation
35. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Check the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.
