DOOR LOCK: FRONT DOOR LOCK: REMOVAL

* Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
* The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire) Removal

3. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal

4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
* After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:





* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH Removal

6. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal

7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal

8. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM COVER LH Removal

9. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal

10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal

11. REMOVE FRONT REAR LOWER DOOR FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal

12. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE COVER LH Removal

13. REMOVE NO. 2 SEPARATION DOOR STIFFENER CUSHION Removal

14. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH Removal

15. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOCK REMOTE CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY LH Removal

16. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE LOCKING CABLE ASSEMBLY LH Removal
