DOOR LOCK: WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM: DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST

1. READ DATA LIST

HINT
Using the Data List displayed on the Techstream, you can read the value of the switch, sensor, actuator, etc. without parts removal. Reading the Data List as the first step in troubleshooting is one way to shorten the labor time.

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream ON.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / desired system / Data List.

(e) According to the display on the Techstream, read the "Data List".









2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST

HINT
Performing the Active Test using the Techstream allows the relay, VSV, actuator, etc. to operate without removing any parts. Performing the Active Test as the first step of troubleshooting is one way to shorten labor time.

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream ON.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Theft Deterrent / Active Test.

(e) According to the display on the Techstream, perform the "Active Test".
