Installation





3UZ-FE IGNITION: IGNITION COIL AND SPARK PLUG: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL SPARK PLUG

(a) Using a 16 mm spark plug wrench, install the 6 spark plugs.

Torque : 18 Nm (183 kgf-cm, 13 ft-lbf)

2. INSTALL IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY





(a) Connect the ignition coil to the spark plug, attach the ignition coil to the cylinder head cover, and install the bolt.

Torque : 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)

(b) Connect the ignition coil connector.

3. INSTALL INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE Installation

4. INSTALL V-BANK COVER Installation

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

6. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization Testing and Inspection.

NOTICE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
