Removal





CELLULAR COMMUNICATION: DCM(TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER): REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

NOTICE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure described for the LH side Removal.

4. REMOVE DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) WITH BRACKET

(a) Remove the 2 clips and audio amplifier cover.





(b) Remove the bolt.





(c) Remove the DCM (telematics transceiver) with bracket in the direction shown by the arrow.

(d) Disconnect each connector and disengage the clamp.





5. REMOVE BACK-UP BATTERY WITH BRACKET Removal

6. REMOVE NO. 1 TELEPHONE BRACKET

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 telephone bracket.





7. REMOVE NO. 3 TELEPHONE BRACKET

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and No. 3 telephone bracket.





8. REMOVE DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)
