Installation

2GR-FSE IGNITION: IGNITION COIL AND SPARK PLUG: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL SPARK PLUG

(a) Install the 6 spark plugs.

Torque : 18 Nm (184 kgf-cm, 13 ft-lbf)

2. INSTALL IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the 6 ignition coils with the 6 bolts.





Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the 6 ignition coil connectors.





Attach the 3 wire harness clamps and connect the noise filter connector.

3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE Installation

4. INSTALL NO. 2 VENTILATION HOSE Installation

5. INSTALL V-BANK COVER Installation

6. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation

7. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Installation

8. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation

9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

10. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.

NOTICE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
