AA80E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: TCM: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal

3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal

4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM ECU COVER Removal

5. REMOVE TCM

(a) Using a screwdriver, disconnect the connector holder.





(b) Disconnect the 8 connectors.

(c) Remove the 2 nuts and TCM.
