Removal

1UR-FSE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: VVT SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

3. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal

4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Disconnect the MAF meter connector.





(b) Remove the 2 clamps, loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner cap LH.

(c) Remove the element from the air cleaner case.

(d) Remove the 2 nuts, clip and air cleaner case.





5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Disconnect the MAF meter connector.





(b) Remove the 2 clamps, loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner cap RH.

(c) Remove the element from the air cleaner case.

(d) Remove the 2 nuts, clip and air cleaner case.





6. REMOVE VVT SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the 4 VVT sensor connectors.





(b) Remove the 4 bolts and 4 VVT sensors.
