Removal





1UR-FSE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: MASS AIR FLOW METER: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Removal

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

NOTICE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Disconnect the MAF meter connector.





(b) Remove the 2 clamps, loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner cap LH.

5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Disconnect the MAF meter connector.





(b) Remove the 2 clamps, loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner cap RH.

6. REMOVE MASS AIR FLOW METER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Bank 1)

(a) Remove the 2 screws and MAF meter.





7. REMOVE MASS AIR FLOW METER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Bank 2)

(a) Remove the 2 screws and MAF meter.
