Installation

2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL VVT SENSOR

(a) Install the 4 sensors with the 4 bolts.





Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the 4 sensor connectors.

2. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY Installation

3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY Installation

4. INSTALL BATTERY Installation

5. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation

6. INSTALL NO. 2 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation

7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

8. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

9. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK Testing and Inspection

10. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK

(a) Start the engine, and check that there are no oil leaks.

11. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

12. INSTALL OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

13. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the windshield wiper motor and link assembly Installation.

14. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
