Installation

U660E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: TCM: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL TCM

(a) Install the TCM to the transaxle.

(b) Install and tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.





Torque : 11 Nm (115 kgf-cm, 8 ft-lbf)

(c) Connect the connector to the TCM.





(d) Turn the lock lever and secure the connector with the lock lever.

2. INSTALL AIR CLEANER BRACKET

(a) Install the air cleaner bracket with the 3 bolts.





Bolt A - Torque : 13 Nm (133 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)

Bolt B - Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

3. INSTALL BATTERY Installation

4. INSTALL INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER Installation

5. INSTALL INLET NO. 2 AIR CLEANER Installation

6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

7. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation

8. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation

9. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER Installation

10. CHECK AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SYSTEM

NOTICE:
If automatic transmission parts have been replaced, refer to Parts Replacement Compensation Table to determine if any additional operations are necessary Service Precautions.
