DESCRIPTION

The DTC is stored when the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) detects malfunctions in the automatic high beam system.

First perform the communication function inspections in How to Proceed with Troubleshooting to confirm that there are no CAN communication malfunctions before troubleshooting this symptom.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(b) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

OK:

DTC B124B is not output.

NG -- CHECK FOR DTC
