C1203/95 - ECM Communication Circuit Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The circuit is used to send TRAC and VSC information from the skid control ECU to the power management control ECU, and hybrid control system information from the power management control ECU to the skid control ECU via the CAN communication system.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
When replacing the skid control ECU, perform initialization and calibration of the linear solenoid valve Initialization.

PROCEDURE

1. PERFORM INITIALIZATION AND CALIBRATION OF LINEAR SOLENOID VALVE

(a) Perform initialization and calibration of the linear solenoid valve Initialization.

HINT
Before carrying out Perform Initialization and Calibration of Linear Solenoid Valve, C1203/95 will output.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

2. RECONFIRM DTC

(a) Turn the power switch off.

(b) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(c) Turn the power switch on (IG).

(d) Check if the same DTC is recorded Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

Result:

3. CHECK PART NUMBER

(a) Turn the power switch off.

(b) Check that a proper power management control ECU, main body ECU (instrument panel junction block) and suspension control ECU are installed.

OK:

Proper ECUs are installed.

(c) Check if the power management control ECU, main body ECU (instrument panel junction block) and suspension control ECU had been replaced before the DTC was recorded.

OK:

ECU had not been replaced.

Result:





D -- REPLACE SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU Removal

C -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK) Removal

B -- REPLACE POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU Removal

4. CHECK PART NUMBER (SKID CONTROL ECU)

(a) Check that a proper skid control ECU is installed.

OK:

Proper skid control ECU is installed.

(b) Check if the skid control ECU had been replaced before the DTC was recorded.

OK:

Skid control ECU had not been replaced.
