Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column System

STEERING COLUMN: POWER TILT AND POWER TELESCOPIC STEERING COLUMN SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR

1. CHECK DTC

(a) Turn the power switch off.

(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(c) Turn the power switch on (IG).

(d) Turn the Techstream on.

(e) Check for DTCs. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Tilt & Telescopic / Trouble Codes.

(f) Confirm the details of the DTCs Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column System.

2. CLEAR DTC

(a) Turn the power switch off.

(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(c) Turn the power switch on (IG).

(d) Turn the Techstream on.

(e) Clear the DTCs. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Tilt & Telescopic / Trouble Codes.

(f) According to the display on the Techstream, select the trouble code data display with the clear button.
