DOOR LOCK: DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL TRANSMITTER BATTERY (for Full Cover Type)

(a) Install a new battery (lithium battery: CR1632) with the positive (+) side facing upward as shown in the illustration.





NOTICE:
When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the electrical transmitter from being damaged.

(b) Press down gently on the battery to set it in place.





NOTICE:
* Be sure that the positive and negative sides of the transmitter battery are positioned correctly.
* Be careful not to bend the terminals of the transmitter during installation.
* Keep the interior of the transmitter case free of dust, water and oil.

(c) Install the cover by pressing down on it as shown in the illustration.





(d) Install the mechanical key.





HINT
After the installation, press one of the transmitter switches and check that the LED illuminates.

2. INSTALL TRANSMITTER BATTERY (for Half Cover Type)

(a) Install a battery (lithium battery: CR1632) with the positive (+) side facing upward as shown in the illustration.





NOTICE:
* When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the electrical transmitter from being damaged.
* Be sure that the positive and negative sides of the transmitter battery are positioned correctly.
* Be careful not to bend the terminals of the transmitter during installation.
* Keep the interior of the transmitter case free of dust, water and oil.

(b) Install the battery cover with the 4 screws.





(c) Slide the transmitter housing cover and engage the claw to install it as shown in the illustration.





(d) Install the mechanical key.





HINT
After the installation, press one of the transmitter switches and check that the LED illuminates.
