1. ACTIVE TEST
Performing the ACTIVE TEST using Techstream allows the meters, indicators and so on to operate without removing any parts. Performing the ACTIVE TEST as the first step in troubleshooting is one way to shorten labor time.
(a) Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(c) From the display on the tester, select the "ACTIVE TEST".
