HEATER HOSE LEAK

LINCOLN:
2003-2004 Navigator

ISSUE
Some 2003-2004 Navigators with the 5.4L 4-valve engine may exhibit a leak from the inlet heater hose that connects from the thermostat housing to the heater core.

ACTION
Replace the original heater hose with a revised hose assembly. This revised hose assembly comes with the water valve, tee, and quick connect fittings. For quick connect fitting removal procedure, refer to Heater Hose Coupling in Workshop Manual Section 412-00.
