Inspect
    Wheels
      Inspect the wheels and related components for abnormal noise, wear, looseness, or drag.
    Vehicle
      Recommended Multi-point Inspection
    Universal Joint, Drive/Propeller Shaft
      If equipped.
    Tie Rod End
      Inspect tie rod ends (lubricate if equipped with Zerk fittings)
    Steering and Suspension
      Inspect steering linkage, ball joints, suspension, tie-rod ends, driveshaft and U-joints; lubricate if equipped with grease fittings.
    Fluid - A/T
      Inspect automatic transmission / transaxle fluid level on vehicles if equipped with dipstick. Consult your dealer for particular requirements. Inspect automatic transmission fluid level (if equipped with an underhood dipstick).
    Exhaust System
      Inspect exhaust system and heat shields.
    Drive/Propeller Shaft
      If equipped.
    Drive Belt
      Inspect accessory drive belts
    Cooling System
      Every 15,000 miles (24,000 km), 600 hours of engine operation or as indicated by the instrument cluster message center
    Constant Velocity Joint Boot
      If equipped.
    Brakes and Traction Control
      Inspect brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums, brake lines and hoses and parking brake system.
    Ball Joint
      If equipped.
Replace
    Spark Plug
    Oil Filter, Engine
    Fuel Filter
      Replace fuel filter (Except E-Series, Escape, Mariner, F-150, Expedition/Navigator (short wheel base only) and Transit Connect.
    Filters
      Climate-controlled seat filter
    Engine Oil
      Change engine oil and filter.
    Cabin Air Filter / Purifier
      Replace if equipped.
    Air Filter Element
      Replace engine air filter.
Rotate
    Tires
      Rotate tires, inspect for wear and measure tread depth.
