Ballast resistor test connections:
1.
Disconnect and inspect module two wire connector and
ignition coil connector,

Using a suitable ohmmeter, measure resistance between coil connector Batt. terminal and wiring harness connector which mates with module red wire,

If reading is 0.8---1.6 ohms, circuit is satisfactory. If reading is less than 0.8 ohms or more than 1.6 ohms, replace ballast resistor.
