In the event that the owner of a vehicle with a keyless entry system dislikes the automatic door locking function, this feature can be disabled by disconnecting the seat switch.
Locate the switch wires under the driver's seat and disconnect the two-wire connector. Tape the connector end to protect from touching a body ground source to preclude inadvertent door locking.
