ISSUE: The headlamp dimmer sensor-amplifier location as published on page 32-15-1 of the 1985 through 1989 Lincoln Town Car Shop Manuals is incorrect. The headlamp dimmer sensor-amplifier unit is not located under the hood behind the grille on the driver's side. The unit is located on the rear view mirror.
ACTION: Refer to the page following this TSB article for the updated information on the location of the sensor-amplifier unit.
