HEADLIGHT - FLASH TO PASS NOT AVAILABLE ON SOME MODELS IN 1984 - ERROR IN OWNERS MANUAL

LINCOLN-MERCURY 1984 GRAND MARQUIS, LINCOLN TOWN CAR
The 1984 Ford Crown Victoria/Mercury Grand Marquis, and 1984 Lincoln Town Car Owners Manuals indicate that these models have the "Flash to Pass" feature. This is an error, as these car lines do not have this feature in 1984; however, the 1985 models will have Flash to Pass. The Crown Victoria and Grand Marquis Owners Manuals describe the use of the "Flash to Pass" feature; the Lincoln Town Car manual only lists "Flash to Pass" in the index, however, the owner may still inquire about this feature. No correction will be needed in the 1985 manual because "Flash to Pass" will be available on all vehicles in 1985.
