Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair

1. Discharge refrigerant from system at service access gauge port valve located on the suction line.
2. Remove battery from vehicle.

Fig. 2 Spring lock coupling disconnect & connect:

3. Disconnect the two refrigerant lines on right side of radiator, Fig. 2.

Fig. 4 Condenser assembly removal:

4. Remove four bolts attaching condenser to radiator support, then the condenser, Fig. 4.
