ENGINE MOUNTS - 3.8L - SERVICE PARTS RETURN OF OBSOLETE ENGINE MOUNT ASSEMBLIES


FORD:
1988-92 TAURUS

LINCOLN-MERCURY:
1988-92 CONTINENTAL, SABLE


ISSUE:
Revised design engine mount assemblies have resulted in the need to purge of the older design engine mount assemblies from service stock.

ACTION:
The old design parts should be removed from your inventory and returned to your facing Parts Distribution Center within 30 days of this TSB.


^ Return prior part numbers FODZ-6038-A and C, FODZ-6068-A and C to your facing PDC using the least expensive transportation.

^ Complete a separate FPS-340 claim for these parts.

^ Indicate Reason "J" on the claims.

^ In the Remarks Section write "Returned per TSB 92-13-11".


LIMITS

^ The returns must be received within 30 days from the date of this TSB.

^ Returns are restricted to the subject parts.

^ The parts returned must have been purchased from FPSD in accordance with Policy and Procedure Bulletin 4000.

CREDIT

Credit for parts and prepaid freight costs will be issued.
