ISSUE: The rear air suspension control module retaining nut torque specification is incorrectly listed as 5-7 lb.ft. (7-10 N-m) in the 1990 Lincoln Town Car Shop Manual. The correct torque specification is 3.7-4.4 lb.ft. (5-6 N-m).

ACTION: Tighten the rear air suspension control module retaining nuts to only 3.7-4.4 lb.ft. (5-6 N-m) to avoid damage.
