To remove shoe and lining assemblies, follow CALIPER/REMOVAL procedure and omit step 2 as it is not necessary to disconnect brake hose. After removing caliper, support it with a length of wire to avoid damaging brake hose. To install shoe and lining assemblies, follow CALIPER/INSTALLATION procedure, making certain that proper parking brake adjustment is obtained.
